our ministries

Every person has a special role to fulfill in the Lord's Kingdom and we are confident that it is never too early or too late to dive into all that He has for you! We hope to offer you and your family something for all age levels that is perfectly tailored to their specific needs. Please explore the different ministries below and continue on to each groups specific page for more detailed information about all of the programs offered.

Teaching our children to walk with Christ doesn't just happen on Sundays. We offer a variety of groups, activities, and classes to help your family stay connected to the community, each other and your faith. Vacation Bible School in July, weekly bible story time called Trek, and our children's choir called Joy Express are just a few ways we encourage the children to stay engaged in their spiritual growth.

If you have questions about Children's Ministry, please contact Kristin at kristin@mtvpc.org

Our purpose within the congregation is to build relationships with teens in grades six through twelve to help them discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. We encourage them to have an ongoing relationship with God as a participating member of God's mission in this world.

We value community and relationship and so we worship together, play games regularly, dig into the Word to better understand Christ's will for our lives, serve together and go on mission both locally and internationally, and support and encourage one another!

Whatever your spiritual and fellowship need may be, we're sure to have the perfect group just for you! We offer a wide array of gatherings for all the adults of the church and welcome you to join any and all that interest you.

If you would like to know more about the programs for adults, please contact Pastor Dan at dan@mtvpc.org

Worship ministry

We believe music and the arts are gifts from God to be used to worship Him. Creative videos, colorful works of art, powerful choir concerts, stunning stage design, or inspiring song lyrics and poetry are all expressions of worship we desire to express.  We love trying new things and finding creative and new ways to inspire our congregation and point them toward the awesome love of Jesus. Come join us!

Our worship director, Dustin Willetts,  is more than happy to talk about all aspects of our worship ministry at Mountain View. Email dw@mtvpc.org for more information.

The people of Mountain View are involved in a variety of missions activities locally, regionally, and around the globe.Locally we support a number of ministries to homeless and impoverished people in our community with our time and resources. As part of our giving we support other regional missions of the Presbyterian Church as well as long-term missionaries in various parts of the world. We also send out short-term teams of adults and youth to partner with mission workers in various parts of our county and oversees.
