Here is more detailed information about our teen ministries!
Mountain View offers three primary opportunities for high school-aged teens to gather and worship. This takes place on a variety of platforms. Sunday school provides our most content-rich teaching of the week. On Mondays, our small group and larger youth group gatherings offer opportunities to play games, worship, and plug in to our MTVPC Youth family. Then, right after church every other Sunday, we have meetings/rehearsals for our ministry team, The Wilds. This group is open to any high school students who are interested in leading/serving. The Wilds consists of a youth band, a tech team, and has lots of room for students with other gifts and passions.
On the last Monday of each month a special worship gathering called Hungry will take place during regularly scheduled Wednesday meeting times. This is an opportunity to come, rest, and rejuvenate your spirit. Occasionally we will have movie nights, game nights and service nights! Come join us!
We also offer several opportunities for 6-8 graders to connect:
Sunday school is currently 6-12th grade. As with our high school groups, middle school small groups will be meeting at the church Monday nights this year. Then, they are invited to join the senior high group for worship and games before splitting off again for discussion times. Finally, Mountain View's amazing youth worship choir, Joy Express is open to students through their eighth grade year. Joy Express meets every Wednesday at the church 4:30-5:30pm and provides amazing opportunities for members to grow musically and spiritually.
