GriefShare
6:30pm-8:30pm | Thursdays
In the Youth Room
It may be hard to feel optimistic right now if you are dealing with the death of someone close. The grief support group at Mountain View can help. We use a format and curriculum that has been approved by churches across the country. It’s called GriefShare, and it’s available to you whether or not you’re part of the Mountain View church family - whether your loved one died recently or sometime ago. You can join GriefShare anytime during the 14-week series and catch up on missed sessions when the next cycle begins.
Don’t grieve alone. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. In a highly confidential and facilitator-led setting, you’ll have a chance each session to check in with others. Those who wish can openly share their concerns, setbacks and progress.
Visit www.griefshare.org for other grief support resources, daily email encouragement and locations and times of other GriefShare groups. You can also contact Mountain View's office for more information.
If you are interested in a self-guided online study, please use Help for the Journey.

The Sunday morning prayer ministry includes a number of people committed to pray for teachers and students, for the worship team, and for all who attend service in person and online. This group is also committed to pray for classes and activities that happen during the week. Please contact the office for more information about our prayer ministry.

Sunday School
10:00am | Sundays Year-Round
Three Years Old - Fifth Grade
Providing a firm Biblical foundation is a priority to us and we value our time on Sunday mornings to be able to dive into the stories of the Bible with the children and learn from God's word.
At Mountain View, we stay together in the sanctuary as a family during worship songs. Before the sermon, the children will be excused for Sunday School. Children can be picked up from their classroom at the end of service. Children 0-3 may be dropped off in the nursery before service on Sunday.
Joy Express Children's Choir
5pm-6pm | Wednesdays During the School Year
First - Eighth Grade
We are thrilled to offer a children's choir under the direction of the founder of Seattle Children's Chorus, Kris Mason. We believe in the power and joy of music, and we love being able to offer opportunities for our little ones to glorify the Lord through song.
The time commitment for Joy Express is every Wednesday and about one Sunday per month.

Our purpose within the congregation is to build relationships with teens in grades six through twelve to help them discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. We encourage them to have an ongoing relationship with God as a participating member of God's mission in this world. We value community and relationship and so we worship together, play games regularly, dig into the Word to better understand Christ's will for our lives, serve together, go on mission both locally and internationally, and support and encourage one another!

{HELLO}
Since 2007, small groups from Mountain View Presbyterian Church in Marysville, Washington, have periodically left their family and jobs for a couple of weeks at a time to travel to a small African village called Diaglé (Jog-a-lay).
We are currently fundraising to build a second story and a wall protective and distinguishing wall around the local clinic that our church supports.
If you are interested in donating to our Senegal clinic building fund, please click here and select "Diagle Health Center"
