Located in Marysville, Washington, Praise and Promise Preschool is a warm and welcoming early childhood program serving preschool and Pre K aged children. Our days are filled with play, creativity, exploration, and meaningful relationships, grounded in the belief that children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and encouraged.
As part of a church community, our faith shapes how we care for children. Through Bible stories, prayer, kindness, and daily interactions, children are reminded that they are deeply loved by God and valued just as they are.
Children learn and grow through a balance of indoor learning, outdoor exploration, and shared experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and joy.

Our Faith Foundation
Our preschool is part of a church community, and faith is
woven naturally into our days. Children hear Bible stories,
practice simple prayer, and are encouraged to show kindness,
gratitude, and care for others in age appropriate ways.
Families do not need to attend the church or share the
same beliefs to enroll. All families are welcome and valued.

Each week includes art, dramatic play, building, sensory experiences, music, stories, faith based learning, and outdoor play.

3/4 Preschool Class
Our preschool class is designed for younger learners who are developing early social skills and independence. Children practice sharing, listening, problem solving, and expressing themselves through play. Activities support language development, fine motor skills, creativity, and early awareness of letters, numbers, and patterns.

Pre-K Class
Our Pre K class supports children as they prepare for kindergarten. Children build early reading and writing skills, number sense, problem solving abilities, and group learning skills. Experiences remain playful and hands on while offering more structure to support readiness and confidence.

A Typical Day
A typical day includes a warm welcome, free choice play, circle time with stories and simple faith based learning, learning centers and small group activities, outdoor play and exploration, art and creative expression, snack and social time, and closing routines with reflection.

Community Life and Special Moments
Throughout the year, children participate in meaningful shared experiences that build connection and joy. These may include seasonal celebrations, class parties, special programs, and end of year milestones such as a Christmas program or graduation celebration.
These moments are designed to be age appropriate, joyful, and centered on community rather than performance.

Our learning Environment
Indoor Learning Spaces
Our indoor learning spaces are arranged to encourage independence, creativity, and collaboration. Children move freely between areas that support imaginative play, early academics, art, and quiet activities. Materials are refreshed regularly to reflect the seasons and children’s interests.
Outdoor Exploration
Our outdoor space is one of the greatest strengths of our program. Children spend meaningful time outside each day where they can move their bodies, explore nature, observe seasonal changes, and play freely. Outdoor learning supports physical development, confidence, and curiosity.
Learning Beyond Our Space
As opportunities arise, children may participate in simple field trips or special experiences that extend learning beyond our environment. Families attend field trips together, and parents stay with their child for the entire experience. These outings are planned with care, clear communication, and a focus on safety and connection.
Church Spaces
As part of a church community, we are able to use additional indoor spaces as needed for movement, special activities, or expanded learning experiences. These spaces allow flexibility while keeping children in a familiar and safe setting.
